November 2024 Release Notes

Backtesting and seamless data integration are crucial for effective trading analysis.

This month's updates focus on strengthening both of these core areas within TradeZella. We've implemented several enhancements to streamline your backtesting workflow, providing more granular insights into your strategy performance.

Additionally, we've expanded our integrations to connect with even more of the platforms you rely on.

Here's a rundown of this month’s key improvements:

Interactive Order and Position Lines in Backtesting

This new feature allows you to:

Visualize your orders

‍Simply click the buy or sell buttons in the order panel to create an order line directly on the chart.

Drag and Adjust

‍‍Drag your stop-loss and take-profit levels directly on the chart to quickly adjust your order parameters.

Real-time P&L Estimates

‍As you adjust your stop-loss and take-profit, the estimated P&L is dynamically updated on the order line, giving you immediate feedback on potential outcomes.

Quickly Change Order Direction

‍Easily switch between buy and sell orders with a single click of the arrow icon.

Monitor Live P&L

‍Once your order is executed, position lines appear on the chart, displaying your current position P&L as price moves.

FTMO Integration

Easily import your FTMO trading history into TradeZella for comprehensive performance analysis and review of your challenge progress.

Simply:

1. Log in to your FTMO Client Area.
2. Navigate to "Accounts Overview" and select "MetriX" for the desired account.
3. In the "Trading Journal" section, click "Export" and choose CSV.
4. Upload the downloaded CSV file to TradeZella.

NinjaTrader Auto-Sync

Connect your NinjaTrader platform to TradeZella for seamless, automated data synchronization, keeping your TradeZella account up-to-date with your latest trading activity.

To get started, simply:

1. Visit the Broker Sync Page. Head to your TradeZella account and navigate to the Broker Sync page.
2. Select NinjaTrader. Choose NinjaTrader as your broker and input your account details.
3. Authenticate and Sync Your Trades. Sit back and relax while TradeZella automatically imports your NinjaTrader trades.

⚠️  Important Note: When you click "Connect," a Tradovate window will pop up. This is expected as NinjaTrader accounts use the Tradovate API. Simply enter your NinjaTrader credentials in this window to proceed.
