NEW: Object Trees

We’re excited to announce the new Object Tree feature, now available on your backtesting window!

This powerful tool provides a centralized location for managing all chart elements, including drawing tools, indicators, and more. With this tool, you can easily organize, modify, and delete chart objects, making your backtesting experience more efficient and intuitive.

Currently located at the bottom left corner, we’ll be moving it to a more convenient spot in an upcoming update.

Improvement: Navigation

We’ve made improvements to the backtetsing navigation for a smoother user experience.

Clicking on the date at the top of your backtesting window shows a calendar pop-up, allowing you to easily switch between years. Additionally, we’ve added the year to the sliderbar for clearer and better navigation.

Bug Fixes

  • P&L/Price Correlation. We’ve addressed an issue affecting the correlation between P&L and price, ensuring more accurate calculations.
  • Limit order fulfillment. We’ve resolved a bug causing limit orders to e filled prematurely. Your orders will now execute as expected.

New Execution Jump Feature

You can now effortlessly navigate to specific executions directly from the executions tab on the Trade Page.

Simply click on the target icon beside the specific execution, and TradeZella will automatically take you to the corresponding point on the chart. This feature is especially helpful for traders with multiple executions over extended periods.

No more scrolling through vast amounts of chart data – jump directly to the execution you need for quick analysis and review.

Tag Management Flexibility

You now have full control over your tag categories.

Previously locked, the default "Setups" and "Mistakes" categories can now be deleted or edited. This gives you complete freedom to customize your tag system and organize your trades exactly how you want.

Improved Error Messaging for Smoother Imports

We've enhanced our error messaging system to provide clearer feedback when file uploads encounter issues. In particular, we've addressed a common problem where users uploaded files containing no trades.

Now, when a file with no trades is detected, you'll see a specific error message suggesting that the exported file's date range might be incorrect. This should help you quickly identify and resolve the issue.

We're actively working on improving error messages for other import-related problems to ensure a more seamless user experience.

Webull Futures Support

We're excited to announce that you can now import your Webull futures trades into TradeZella! This latest integration allows you to track and analyze your futures performance alongside your other trades.

MT4/MT5 Sync Simplified

MT4 & MT5 users, we've streamlined the syncing process to make your life easier!

Previously, finding your broker within the sync flow could be a challenge. We've removed the "company" field, simplifying the process to just selecting your server. This change significantly reduces confusion and speeds up the account linking process.

Little, Big Fixes

  • Tradelocker sync issues: Handled cases when TradeLocker is under maintenance and users in TradeZella see a white window when trying to sync
  • Unable to place crypto trade with quantity including decimal
  • Handled instances where there were gaps in the trade chart/missing candles
  • Charles Schwab sync-related issues with duplicate executions
  • TopStep: Fixed grouping of executions for partial trades
  • and more here in our Changelog!

These updates are a testament to our commitment to providing you with the tools you need to succeed as a trader. We're excited to see how you'll leverage these new features to enhance your trading!

Stay tuned for more exciting updates in the coming months!

Happy trading,

TradeZella Team
