Dashboard Insights: Track Your Drawdowns

Tracking your drawdowns is key to identifying your risk tolerance, managing emotions, and developing strategies to overcome losses. Our new drawdown widgets provide you with a clear picture of your drawdowns, empowering you to take control of your trading.

Max Drawdown

Keep a close eye on your maximum consecutive loss to manage risk and identify potential areas for improvement.

This widget includes your maximum drawdown in dollar ($) value, maximum drawdown in percentage (%), and the date when the maximum drawdown happened.

Average Drawdown

Get a broader picture of your drawdown patterns by tracking the average size of your losing streaks.

This includes your average drawdown in dollar ($) value, in percentage (%), as well as your current drawdown value and the date.

These widgets can help you assess your overall risk exposure and make informed decisions about your trading strategies.

Add these to your dashboard today! Here's how:

Backtesting Made Even Better

We've continued to refine our backtesting capabilities to provide you with the most accurate and efficient testing environment:

Sessions Indicator

Gain valuable insights into market trends and correlations with the new Sessions indicator! This custom indicator clearly divides the trading day into 3 distinct sessions: Asia, London, and New York.

There are many ways you can use this indicator to benefit your backtesting sessions depending on your strategy and trading style. Here's some of the things we love about it:

  • You can pinpoint previous highs and lows within each session, offering potential entry and exit points.
  • It allows you to focus on the session that best suits your trading style and strategies.
  • Makes it easy to discover session-specific patterns and capitalize on recurring opportunities.

Did we mention it's fully customizable? Yup! You can:

  • Edit the start & end time of each session
  • Update the visuals
  • Select the number of days it will render for

Take note that this is the first of many more indicators that we'll be releasing on TradeZella! Let us know what you think and what you want to see next.

Edit Your Session’s End Date

Now you have the flexibility to edit the end date of your backtesting sessions, allowing you to extend your sessions as you wish.

Notebook Enhancements

We've listened to your feedback and made improvements to the Notebook feature for a smoother experience.

Full-Page Notes

Enjoy a more spacious writing experience with the removal of the boxy frame. Sleek and borderless.

Grammar Check

Write with confidence knowing that TradeZella can help you spot and correct any grammar errors.

Important Fixes

We've addressed several critical issues to ensure a smoother trading experience:

  • Limit Order Accuracy: We've fixed a problem that caused limit orders to be filled prematurely.
  • Order Execution Timing: Fixed an issue where orders were not executed when created and reached their target within the same candle.
  • Consistent Candle Data: Resolved discrepancies in candle opening and closing prices across different timeframes.
  • Manual Trade Input: Prevented users from entering 0 as the quantity when creating a manual trade.

Up Next: Global Filters

Stay tuned for exciting updates coming soon! We're working on a redesigned Global Filters feature with enhanced functionality, including the ability to exclude certain filters and use "match all" criteria. Additionally, we're developing more advanced filtering options to further refine your trading analysis.
